We are cruising with our guests in the Jonian Sea - turquoise bays, cristal clear water, mountains and green hills, cute villages and friendly people - this is Greece!

Much cheaper and less crowded than Croatia - a paradise we really can recommend!

We now start realizing what it really means to be autonomous - the incredible luxury of not beeing forced to wait for the "water-man" that has the key for the water-hose in every harbour, not beeing forced to spend at least every second day in a marina for water and electricity, not beeing forced to queue up at the fuel station with dozens of other boats ....

The Solarwave-Catamaran produces the water for the shower and washing machine as well as the drinking water only with solarpower out of salty seawater! All night long all deck-lights are switched on - not a waste of energy, just luxury, because we have plenty of energy! More than we can consume! And additionally we charge the batteries for the outboard-motor of our dinghy as well as those for the electric bike-board with solar energy. The bike-board we use every day for extensive sightseeing-trips over the hills of the islands and for shopping tours.

After a whole day of cruising and spending energy for the main engines (electric), fridges, freezers, cooking and with about 200 liters freshly produced potable water we reach the next island always with fully loaded batteries. A great feeling!

Not even one thougth about rising fuel prices - here up to 2 Euro a liter! No emissions, no noise - just silence and the beauty of nature!
